What is hoozyu?

Birkman for Young People

We created hoozyu because we wanted better for young people. Better outcomes, better options, and better answers to questions such as "who am I?" and "why do I respond to the world the way I do?". We have a lot of experience helping adults — in corporate organisations, not-for-profits, and one-on-one coaching — but a question that kept coming back to us was "can this help my young person too?"

So we took the most relevant and important parts of the tool we used with our adult clients, and developed a report to help young people really understand themselves, and find their way in the world.

hoozyu is built on The Birkman Method Assessment, an enterprise-level tool with over 70 years track record in global organisations. Based on empirical research, rather than on a theory of personality, the data is robust and long-lasting. You can use the same report for many years into the future.

The people who asked us for this tool were all parents, hungry to help their kids build resilience and find a good path in life. We believe hoozyu is most powerful when used as an aid to productive and affirming conversations between young people and the adults who are invested in their lives.

While we created hoozyu as an interactive platform, we knew it was important to have a tangible, printable report as well. The Summary Report allows you to share your results with the people who matter most to you, but who may not always understand where you're coming from. Now, they can.
