hoozyu in Youth Development
Providing a Roadmap for your Young People
Whether you are a youth mentor, connecting with individual young people, or a youth development manager delivering structured programmes for groups, hoozyu is an online assessment tool that can dovetail neatly into your existing programmes and give enhanced support to your desired outcomes.
The printable summary report provides you with objective data that builds both self-awareness and others-awareness, helps young people recognise areas of greatest motivation, and enables them to build resilience, self-efficacy and a sense of personal responsibility for self-management.
More than that, hoozyu is a tool that helps increase hope, and reflects back to each individual: the value they are able to bring to the world, and to others.
How does it work?
hoozyu is designed to be accessible to individuals, but it works best when used in a group context — where social learning, and recognising one another's similarities and differences, help to reinforce self-understanding and awareness of others.

That's why we're particularly invested in helping those who work with young people to incorporate hoozyu successfully into the work they are already doing. Here's an overview of how we do that:​
Practical Training
Our training programme for hoozyu facilitators -hoozyu: Fundamentals
is designed to take you from complete newbie, familiarise you with your own report, and leave you confident and adept at having conversations with young people about their hoozyu data. The course is practical, applicable, and highly rated by participants.
Portal Access
Once you've completed the online training, we'll set you up with a Client Portal account. This allows you to manage orders, send invites and print both individual and group reports for your young people. Managing this for yourself gives you the freedom to access what you need, when you need it, in any timezone.
Online Questionnaire
When you send a hoozyu invite, the recipient will receive a link to set up an account. Once that's done, they'll see a button to start the questionnaire. It takes about 30 minutes to complete and is mainly true / false questions with one section of drag and drop rank-by-interest questions. It's not an IQ test and there are no bad answers or results.
Interactive Platform
Once the individual has completed the questions, their results are instantly loaded into their hoozyu account and they can begin exploring their full report online. You won't have access to their account, but you might choose to sit with them as they explore their results on the platform, or use their Printable Summary Report.
Printable Summary
Conversation is one of the most powerful aspects of hoozyu. When young people are able to discuss their scores (and how these play out for them specifically), it multiplies the value of the data and turns numbers on a page into a living narrative of their motivations and perspectives.
