If you have previously completed a Birkman Method® Questionnaire in any context and would prefer to use your existing profile (which is what we would recommend), please do not complete the questionnaire again. Instead please contact us at support@hoozyu.com, giving the following details:

The data generated by the Birkman Method® Questionnaire has the potential to be useful to you both now and for years to come. As a rule of thumb, if you are currently under 20 years old, you may want to consider retaking the Questionnaire in your late twenties; otherwise, we expect this data to remain accurate for you for a period in excess of twenty years from the time you take the Questionnaire.

If someone other than yourself has ordered this Questionnaire for you, by completing the Questionnaire you are agreeing to that third party having access to your results for purposes including, but not limited to, recruitment and selection, team and organisational effectiveness, employee engagement, career development and guidance. It is the responsibility of that third party to inform you prior to your completing this Questionnaire how they intend to use your results, if at all, and to only extend or change that with your full consent. IF YOU ARE NOT CLEAR ON HOW SUCH A THIRD PARTY INTENDS TO USE YOUR DATA, please do not proceed with the Questionnaire until you are.

Except as provided for under 3. above, Elaura Asia Pte Ltd (Elaura), its subsidiaries and associates will never release your data in a format that identifies you as its subject to any other third party except with your explicit consent. Such consent may include but is not restricted to consent in writing or consent by clicking a link or button in an email or web form only accessible to you.

Because of the lifetime nature and value of this data, Elaura invests much time and effort in developing applications which will enable you and, subject to your consent, your employer, prospective employer and other third parties to make good use of this data. Subject to you keeping your contact details associated with your profile up to date, we will inform you whenever new applications are available. You will always have the option to opt in or out of, or to use or not use, any such application.

Elaura is committed to making only positive, constructive use of the Birkman Method® data which drives our various reports and applications. As such, we require all third parties, including but not limited to: employers, prospective employers, recruiters, educational or youth organisations, and voluntary organisation to subscribe to the following Terms and Conditions:

The Birkman Method® is a well-validated, objective and non-judgemental instrument. You are given access to Birkman Method® data (“the Data”), whether in the form of Birkman Method® Reports or other Reports and Applications, by Elaura Asia Pte Ltd (Elaura), its subsidiaries and associates on the binding condition that agree to use this data in a positive and non-judgemental manner and in strict accordance with the following guidelines. If you are not willing to abide by these conditions, you agree to return all data to Elaura and to destroy all digital copies you and your employees, contractors and associates may have access to.

You may not use the Data as the sole criterion in any hiring or promotion decision. You may however use the Data to filter a large group of candidates into a smaller group, provided that you also give regard to other factors thereafter.

When you ask an Employee or prospective Employee (a “Subject”) to complete a Birkman Method® Questionnaire, it is your sole responsibility to inform them, prior to their completion of the Questionnaire, the purposes and uses to which you intend to put their results. This is important in that their subsequent completion of the Questionnaire implies consent to your using their results in the manner and for the purposes you have stipulated. You may not, therefore, subsequently extend or change those purposes and uses without first gaining the informed consent of all Subjects affected.

You may not under any condition, sell, resell, transmit or package any of the Data within your control to any Third Party whatsoever. If there is a genuine need to pass data to a Third Party, you agree to obtain all Subject consents and then ask Elaura to arrange the transfer, for which there may be a fee or other charges and conditions.

You agree to discipline appropriately any Employee, Contractor or Associate who makes improper use of the Data pertaining to any other Subject, to prevent recurrences.

You agree to indemnify Birkman International Inc and Elaura Asia Pte Ltd, their subsidiaries and associates against any legal action whatsoever arising out of your use of the Data.

Elaura takes Data Security seriously and operates under the relevant Data Protection Legislation in Singapore and the UK. If you have any reason to think that your data may have been compromised in any manner whatsoever, please inform us by contacting datasecurity AT elaura DOT com immediately.

Elaura makes every effort to ensure that the Data is presented and used in a positive and non-judgemental manner. All Reports, Applications and Data are provided “As Is” and it is your responsibility to ensure that you and any Third Party make proper use thereof. Elaura will however honour any money-back guarantee currently in force (see www.elaura.com for details).

Notwithstanding anything in these terms and conditions, Elaura Asia Pte Ltd, its subsidiaries and associates accept no legal liability in respect of the use of its services or the use of the Data. Your completion of the Questionnaire signifies your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Our guarantee is very simple. If you do not believe that any part of the work we have done for you has been great value for money, and we cannot make that right for you, we will cheerfully refund your fee for that portion of the work in full.

The guarantee only applies to products and services paid for either at the time of order or (in the case of invoiced goods) within the time frame specified on the invoice (usually 14 days).

You need to tell us that you aren't happy with the value you have received within 14 days of receipt of the product or service or completion of the work in question; after this, any refund will be entirely at our discretion.
